Space Clearing

The Ceremony

Establishing the working space

There are few stages to the initial part of the consultation:

Firstly, when arriving at your home or business premises I will start to peripherally tune into the surrounding area: environmental aspects (i.e. power lines), building idiosyncrasies and land energies that stand out. I see this like spreading a visionful net over the area to catch and highlight the potential influences, harmful or not that may be affecting you, your family or business in some way.

I also continue this in your lobby, garden or entrance.

I will begin by asking you to give me the guided tour of your premises and during this round you are welcome to explain or highlight any areas that you feel warrant special attention or hold particular emotional or physical significance for you.

Next we sit down and briefly discuss your aspirations that we have previously talked about over the phone or email. This establishes a safe space for you to discuss matters of the heart and declares your intention into the working space.

I then do a round of energy sensing, feeling and interpreting the energies and imprints that the walls and furniture hold. This may include reading the emotional imprints left from the previous owners or tenants. It gives me a clearer picture of the history of the space. This round also establishes the boundaries that we will be working with throughout the ceremony. Imagine a cat walking the perimeter of a room, sizing up its territory!

Preparing a Personal Altar

Altar

Many people find the preparation of the altar one of the most rich and beautiful parts of the ceremony. This is where I use your aspirations as a blueprint to create the most ideal and tailor made design to suit the purpose of all people involved and/or present. It's where you get to mingle your energies with the flowers by picking the flower heads to be arranged as offerings on small side plates. You see and experience a wonderful creation being built in front of your eyes.

Then, systematically room-by-room I activate all the flower offerings by doing a mudra and placing them in key positions around your place. This brings a quality of light into the space that for some people can be felt and seen tangibly - it can be likened to an ether or fine energy that tingles and feels enlivening.

The Clearing

I find that different parts of the ceremony are more significant to people in different ways - much dependant upon why you have called me in the first place. As an example, in some homes the energy clearly needs revitalizing. It can feel like the previous owner's energy is still hanging in the space. In other cases a couple or family may have had some really tough times, separations, arguments, disputes etc. Therefore, in a case like this the clearing parts of the ceremony are particularly important. You want your space back and most importantly you want it to feel clear and renewed.

There are 2 main parts to the clearing:

Clapping & Belling.

The purpose of the clapping is to break up stuck energies in the rooms and at times correspondingly in you. We use very intense claps - a technique directed from the internal bodily fire - to get into those corners where lingering energy sits. It is especially the stuck energy around clutter that really shifts after this circuit. The clapping works deeply into the chi or life force layer of the walls, furniture and other items. The room normally feels a lot lighter after this round and at times people can feel emotional during this part. I encourage you to let your emotions go and allow the chi to flow!

Bells

The sweet sound of the bells is a sound that reaches deeply into your soul. I use two perfectly balanced consecrated Balinese bells. These are the créme de la créme of bells. As I move from room to room, the sounds permeate the walls and furniture deeply, clearing emotional imprints and uplifting the space. Each room is energetically balanced and fine-tuned. The sounds continue on and on even after I am finished. The high-sounding melodious pitch of the bells can leave you feeling high and alive. Many of my clients have been enchanted by the sound and wanted more!

Personal Belling

Now it's your turn to receive the same treatment as the space. I use my bells to align your energy with the energy of your space. This also uplifts and fine-tunes your energy.

The Consecration

In some homes this part of the ceremony is the most fundamental. An example of this would be in a new house where essentially the focus would be on creating a new space congenial for a fresh start in life.

I move around the space consecrating it using blessed water to infuse the space with a light, tingling essence. This is purifying and enlivening for the space.

We then sit down together and I will give you a harmony ball. This is a gift especially for the purpose of infusing your aspirations into it. It makes a light jingling sound. The process of infusion is a silent process for you. It is a time to go inside and feel all that you want to manifest in the coming days and weeks. The space can feel pregnant with possibility. It is a time to open to all that is there for you, to allow your intentions to be present and for your dreams to be realized.

We finish off the consecration by doing a final round of the space, using the harmony ball to infuse the walls and furniture. It is vigorous and fun and most people, especially kids, love this bit.

For the finale, I have a few little surprises up my sleeve.

As you can see, this is a deep and thorough ceremony, sacred and beautiful. I have found that people loose a sense of time during the ceremony, and feel incredibly held and nurtured throughout the consultation. I look forward to the pleasure of meeting you in your home or business.
