A Space Clearing consultation consists of the following stages of preparation.
Just the facts
At the initial e-mail or telephone contact I will get to know more about you and the property. You can use the following checklist as your guide.
- The property floor size - in sq meters or feet
- Number of floors
- Number of rooms (including garage, basements and sheds)
- Number of people living or working in the space
- The name of the owner of the property, the boss, or head of household
- Relationship to the other people living or working there
- The amount of time you have lived in, or inhabited, the space
- Your clutter ratio: do you have a lot of stuff, an average amount, etc.
- Who will be present for the Space Clearing?
Reflect on what matters
Next, write down your key personal priorities for the Space Clearing. What would you like to see happen in your life or business as a result of the consultation? Be honest and reflect on what is most important to you in your life at this moment. The success of your desired transformation depends on your honesty and clarity. Some possible questions to consider: What would you like help with? What would you like to change or improve?
The time that you put into examining your goals is an investment in yourself, and you'll find it is time well spent. Once a date has been confirmed for the consultation things will begin to happen. Unexplained events, changes, and synchronicities regularly occur before the consultation itself has actually come about. By tuning in to your priorities and aspirations you have already started the process of sending your deepest intentions into the universe, and it is exciting to experience how the universe begins to work on your behalf to help you bring about your ideal life.
Maximize results by clearing clutter
For clients who have booked only a Space Clearing I regularly recommend that they do some clutter clearing before I come. I provide clear, incisive guidelines on how to get started tailored specifically to a person or organization's current situation.
It is also highly beneficial to clean the house or workspace as if you were preparing for friends to come over or organizing a special event. The effects of the Space Clearing will be more spectacular as a result of the extra time, care, and attention you have put into it.
A few pointers
For residential spaces Space Clearing is best done on a quiet day, with less activity: a morning or afternoon. Afternoon clearings should commence at least 90 minutes before sunset.
For professional spaces a Space Clearing is most easily done outside of office hours, with fewer staff present (though senior partners or members of management are encouraged to participate).
Throughout the consultation you will be asked to switch off all telephones, computers, TV's, and electrical equipment that might cause a disturbance.
It is most beneficial to have the owners of the space present and imperative that permission has been granted from the owner, landlord, or tenant. In big cities once you are a paying tenant you need not ask a landlord's permission.
It is best if you can be present in the property after the Space Clearing has finished. The space can feel so beautiful and alive that few people actually want to leave, and they want to enjoy how good it feels. This recommendation is especially relevant for business travelers. Try to find a date where you will be in town for at least a week afterwards. The best results occur in the days and weeks after the Space Clearing, so be around to make the most of the energy.
Personal Cleansing
If you want to take things one step further I can highly recommend some personal things that you can do to prepare for the Space Clearing:
- Have an early night before the Space Clearing so that you are well rested.
- Stay away from stimulants 24hrs before, i.e. alcohol, caffeine or sugar.
- Eat lightly the day before but do eat a substantial meal before we begin.
- An Epsom salt bath can be very cleansing or a jing bath with milk, honey and an egg will awaken your etheric.
Fees
Each person's home or business space is unique and requires its own special set of requirements in a consultation. For example, the consultation may include a lot of clutter clearing advice, dowsing, or EMF guidance. It could also include additional Feng Shui advice. I therefore provide personalized quotations to clients rather than flat fees. An average Space Clearing will take approx. 3hrs.
